Chhaava Storms Box Office, Rivals Pushpa 2

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhaava is poised to be the first blockbuster of Hindi cinema in 2025. It is also poised to become the much-needed humongous success Bollywood has been awaiting since Stree 2.

As per bollywood trackers, In its three-day run, Chhaava collected more than Rs. 121 crore nett. and joined the 100 Crore club.

A couple of months ago, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 went on a rampage at the North Indian box office. Surprisingly, Chhaava is performing on par with Pushpa 2 across many regions in North India and also outperforming in some areas, especially in Maharashtra, as it is based on the life of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shamabaji Maharaj.

Trade reports also revealed that Chhaava defeated Pushpa’s single-day record at Movie Max multiplex chain. While Pushpa made a record by collecting Rs. 2.01 crore in a single day in the Movie Max chain, Chhaava defeated it by earning Rs. 2.01 crore.

If Chhaava passes the crucial Monday test, we can expect the film to continue its glorious run at the box office. The film also made Vicky Kaushal one of the promising stars in Bollywood.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava featured Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. AR Rahman composed the music for the movie.
