Prabhas is one of the most friendly actors in the Telugu film industry. Despite being the first actor to achieve the pan-India stardom, he behaves as if he is not aware of his achievements. It is the reason why he generously agrees to encourage new-age filmmakers or promote their content. He even acted in Kannappa just because he share a great bonding with none other than Mohan Babu. During the film’s promotional event in Mumbai, Vishnu revealed how Prabhas came on board.
Interestingly, Mohan Babu first approached Prabhas, insisting that he come on board for the project. Both the actors shared the screen space in Bujjigadu – Made in Chennai. Even Vishnu is close to Prabhas.
Vishnu said, “Prabhas did not even think twice before doing the film. He told me that he was scared that my father asked him to do the film. Prabhas asked why I did not call him.”
Vishnu also shared, “For the stature of Akshay Kumar, he does not need to do this character. But for me, when I thought of Lord Siva, it is him. He rejected the film twice but ultimately, I convinced him to do the film.”
Vishnu also revealed that Mohanlal also came on board despite him being a legend to do a small character in the film.
The film is hitting the screens on April 28, 2025.
