Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu are set to create magic once again with the much-awaited sequel to Akhanda, titled Akhanda 2. The film’s next schedule will take place in some risky locations in Himalayas, and the director, along with his team is conducting a recce for the same.
Given the importance of these sequences showing Balakrishna in Aghora get-up, and also to give a never-before experience, Boyapati is not settling for conventional spots. He’s scouring the majestic mountains for the locations that have never been showcased in Indian cinema before. The crew is undertaking a daring investigation mission to capture these awe-inspiring backdrops.
After their successful collaboration in Sarrainodu, Aadhi Pinisetty plays the most powerful character of immense strength and ferocity, carefully crafted by Boyapati. Samyuktha is the leading lady opposite Balakrishna in the movie.
Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta are producing the movie on 14 Reels Plus, while M Tejaswini Nandamuri presenting the film. With cinematography handled by C Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae, and the music composed by S Thaman, Akhanda 2 is planned for a grand Dussehra release on September 25th.
