After scoring a blockbuster with Dasara, Natural Star Nani and director Srikanth Odela teamed up for their second outing, The Paradise. The announcement teaser of this movie was released today amid much hype. Within minutes of release, The Paradise became a topic of discussion on social media due to its bold content and unique experience.
The teaser features the voiceover of protagonist’s mother introducing him as “La**a Koduku”. Then, we also get a glimpse of Nani sporting a tattoo with the same word on his hand. There was a divided talk on social media regarding this word.
A section of audiences opined that usage of such words in mainstream cinema would send a wrong message to the society, especially to children and teenagers. They criticised makers for trying to portray such cuss words to elevate heroism.
On the other side, other people argued that cinema wouldn’t influence people in real life and if it does, people would have taken films like Arjun Reddy and Animal as their inspiration. They argued that films should be taken as a source of entertainment and not an influence material.
Meanwhile, as an actor, Nani is being landed for choosing such a bold script and sporting such a unique getup for the film. Be it negative or positive, The Paradise definitely succeeded in generating people’s attention by raising debate on social media.
With this, the movie will definitely take a strong opening at the box office.
