Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star heroines in the movie industry. The actress has been working for over 15 years now and she still considers her first film very special. It is Gautham Menon’s Ye Maya Chesave that marked Samantha’s debut in Telugu. She acted with her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya in the movie and the actress opened up recently that she remembers every single shot she gave for the movie.
At the same time, she thinks that she could still remember everything that happened back then. Samantha also considers that the 15 years feel like forever. Samantha clearly remembers every shot she gave for the movie and it was special for her for many reasons.
“The first scene I shot was the gate meeting with Karthik. I recall every little detail about that moment because working with Gautham Menon was a fantastic experience. He knew exactly what he wanted and how the character should come across,” shared Sam, recollecting the good old memories.
YMC is the remake of the Tamil film VTV and it opened to a big success in Telugu. AR Rahman’s music is a huge plus too. With this debut success, Samantha went on to be seen in movies like Brindavanam, Dookudu, Eega, SVSC, Atharntiki Daredi and many others.
The last film that Samantha was a part of is Kushi. Later, she was seen in the Prime Video web series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Samantha is now shooting for another web series titled Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. She is also producing a film titled Ma Inti Bangaram.
