Shivamani, Super, What’s Next?

Director Puri Jagannadh is in dire need of a strong comeback after two consecutive disasters, Liger and Double iSmart. Despite making a stunning comeback with iSmart Shankar, he entered the flops path again. However, he is not getting the right opportunity. There have been speculations about Puri teaming up with star heroes and here is a scoop that he may work with Nagarjuna Akkineni again.

Earlier, there were reports that he had prepared a story for Akhil, but in reality, he recently met Nagarjuna. Currently, apart from special cameos in Kubera and Coolie, Nagarjuna has no solo hero commitments. Though he is listening to scripts, he has yet to give the green light to any project.

Nagarjuna and Puri Jagannadh have previously collaborated on two films. The first one was Shivamani, which entertained all sections of audiences. Later, they worked on Super, which didn’t do well but impressed a section of the audience. It’s been almost two decades since their last collaboration, and whether Nagarjuna will agree to work with Puri again remains uncertain.

As of now, this remains in the gossip stage, but if they find the right content, another action-packed film from the Nag-Puri combination could be expected. Nagarjuna has been taking things slow after Naa Saami Ranga. He had reportedly agreed to a pan-India film with a Tamil director, but the project is still stuck in pre-production.
