Watch: Sapthagiri’s Pelli Kaani Prasad Trailer

Sapthagiri is pinning high hopes on his upcoming film Pelli Kaani Prasad, directed by Abhilash Reddy Gopidi and produced by K.Y. Babu of Vision Group, in collaboration with Bhanu Prakash Goud, Sukka Venkateshwar Goud, and Vybhav Reddy Mutyala under the banner of Thama Media Entertainments.

The film’s trailer has just been released. Sapthagiri plays Prasad, a man from the Katnam family, where taking dowry is an essential tradition. His father places a hefty price tag of 2 Crore on his son, making it nearly impossible for Prasad to find a bride. Enter a middle-class girl with big dreams of settling abroad, and the plot takes a humorous and intriguing turn.

The storyline has plenty of room for comedy, and Sapthagiri delivers good performance. Priyanka Sharma is the female lead, while Muralidhar Goud plays his father. As the trailer suggests, Pelli Kaani Prasad is set to be a wildly entertaining film.

The movie’s cinematography is handled by Sujatha Siddarth, with music composed by Shekar Chandra. Pelli Kaani Prasad is set to hit theaters on March 21st through Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC).
