Victory Venkatesh delivered a memorable performance in a vintage humorous role in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which went on to become his biggest grosser among regional movies.
The film has now achieved remarkable success on OTT platforms as well. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam premiered on TV the same day as its OTT release, marking a significant milestone in its journey.
The film garnered a phenomenal TVR of 18.1 On Zee TV, making it the highest-rated Weekday Premiere on Telugu GECs in the past two years. This achievement is all the more impressive given the current dominance of OTT platforms offering high-definition content, highlighting the film’s strong television appeal.
Tollywood witnessed many super-duper hits at Pan India level, but Sankranthiki Vasthunnam broke records of those movies, in terms of TVR.
The film’s performance on Zee5 was equally extraordinary, where it amassed over 310 million streaming minutes, setting new records. This success across both TV and OTT platforms underscores the film’s wide-reaching appeal and entertainment value.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, known for his expertise in crafting family entertainers, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam proved to be the perfect family viewing experience. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film has emerged as a major success story in the entertainment world.
