According to the official announcement from the production company, Mad Square has collected a whopping 55.20 crores in its first three days. When you consider it doesn’t have a star cast, this is a huge achievement, especially when it has outperformed films starring Mohanlal, Nithiin, and Vikram. Yesterday, shows in major centers were almost all sold out, and additional screens had to be added. With the Ramadan holidays continuing on Monday, even bigger numbers are expected for the film.

The key now will be how much drop is recorded from tomorrow. There are no significant new releases in the coming weekend, and this will likely continue until April 10. If Mad Square uses this time wisely, crossing the 100-crore mark in gross revenue won’t be a problem. However, that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy. Retaining the audience through the weekend will be crucial, and with the added shows, reaching that magic number is definitely achievable.
