It is known that the Telugu community celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ugadi yesterday, which is the Telugu equivalent of the New Year. On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, did something comprehensive for the economically weaker sections of the state.
Chandrababu Naidu released funds amounting to ₹38 crore on the occasion of Ugadi. This money comes directly from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and will be used to help 3,456 poor individuals who have been struggling due to financial issues.
According to official communication, CM Chandrababu Naidu made the decision on Ugadi to provide assistance to the poor. He signed the first file on the CM Relief Fund to help families facing financial difficulties after undergoing medical treatment. He approved the release of ₹38 crores.
This will benefit 3,456 poor people. Since the coalition government came to power, the government has provided ₹281.38 crores to 23,418 poor people through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund so far.
It is evident that over 3,000 families got to celebrate Ugadi on a brighter note due to the comprehensive decision taken by the Chief Minister. This money could go a long way in helping those in need.
