In spite of the mixed reviews on its opening day, Mad Square, the crazy sequel to the 2023 madcap campus entertainer, has had a solid extended weekend in the Telugu states. The film’s box office numbers on its first Monday were backed by the Eid festive holiday and helped it to reach closer to the Rs 20 crore club.
On the Eid holiday, Mad Square collected a decent distributor share of Rs 3.53 crores in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The film’s total 4-day theatrical share is Rs 18.44 crores, indicating that the Rs 20 crore share milestone will be crossed by Tuesday.

Nizam – Rs 8.22 crore
Ceded – Rs 2.77 crore
UA – Rs 2.41 crore
East – Rs 1.44 crore
West – Rs 0.68 crore
Krishna – Rs 1.04 crore
Guntur – Rs 1.30 crore
Nellore – Rs 0.58 crore
Total 4-day share = Rs 18.44 crores.
Mad Square is directed by Kalyan Shankar, who also helmed Mad. Young heroes Sangeeth Shobhan, Narne Nithin, and Ram Nitin played the male leads, while Priyanka Jawalkar is the leading lady in the movie. Thaman composed the background score, with Bheems Ceciroleo taking care of the songs.
