Veteran Bollywood Actor Manoj Kumar Passes Away

Bollywood’s veteran actor-director Manoj Kumar breathed his last today early morning in Mumbai. As per the news reports from the Mumbai media, Manoj Kumar died at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital at 4.03 AM. He was 87.

According to medical reports, Manoj Kumar was undergoing treatment for health issues already. The cause of death has been identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, a severe heart attack. Additionally, Manoj Kumar was also battling decompensated liver cirrhosis in the past few months. He was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025, after his condition worsened.

Manoj Kumar enjoys the nickname, Bharath Kumar, mainly because of his portrayals in patriotic movies. He was born in Punjab and emerged as a versatile talent in Hindi cinema, competing with the best in the industry.

Some of the movies that remain classics in his filmography are Shaheed, Upkar, Purab Aur Paschim, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan and Kranti.
