Babu Passed Peddi’s First Test!

As a disciple of Sukumar, they believed Buchi Babu would deliver a film even better than Rangasthalam, especially with guidance from his mentor. With the first shot of Peddi, Buchi Babu hit a six with a Dhoni-style helicopter shot, showcasing exactly what fans hoped for, even though the teaser didn’t reveal much of the story.

The film seems to have some similarities to Rangasthalam, with rural settings and elements like cricket during Dussehra, but Buchi Babu successfully made it unique with Ram Charan’s swag. Now, his next target is to aim for distinction, then state and national recognition, as the pressure on him keeps increasing with high expectations.

Although there’s still a year until the release, Buchi Babu’s biggest challenge will be getting the best from A.R. Rahman. He has already succeeded with the first shot, but if the music and background score are up to the mark, it could easily match the works of Anirudh, Devi Sri Prasad, or Thaman. Rahman has not yet had a solid blockbuster in Tollywood films, but music lovers hope this will be his breakthrough.
