Megastar Chiranjeevi’s socio-fantasy drama Vishwambhara is back in the news. Of late, there are doubts and speculations regarding the film’s release but finally, the makers seem to have arrived at a conclusion over the same. If the reports are true, Vishwambhara will hit the screens on July 24th, on the same day when Indra was released in 2002.
Vishwambhara is directed by Vashishth, who scored a success in the debut film, Bimbisara. The film unit received criticism for the poor VFX work in the teaser. Ever since, they have been sitting on making it better. The makers seemed to have hired multiple teams and even consulted other directors like Nag Ashwin to get things right.
Especially, after Chiranjeevi announced a film with Anil Ravipudi and Srikanth Odela, the buzz about Vishwambhara’s release is growing. The film unit is trying to wrap up the post-production work at the earliest. The team is still facing criticism for delaying updates and not giving a quality output but now, things seemed to have changed.
Chiranjeevi personally interacted with the entire team including those who are working on the VFX and tried to realistically designed a strategy that works for everyone. In the process, they aimed at a release date as July 24th.
Since Indra has become a big blockbuster back then, the date would surely bring the hit vibes, if promoted correctly. Also, the promotional material that is expected to come in the coming days will decide the film’s fate.
On the other hand, Trisha reunites with Chiranjeevi as a female lead in the film. MM Keeravani is the music director. A formal announcement on the release date will be out soon.
