Shruti Haasan may have attained pan-Indian popularity in her 25-year-long career, but she has been volatile in her love life. In the past, the 39-year-old actress officially dated visual artist Santanu Hazarika, London-based actor-musician Michael Corsale, and actor Siddharth. She was also linked with cricketer Suresh Raina and actors Dhanush and Ranbir Kapoor. Shruti is currently single and enjoying her solitude.

Shruti is often trolled on social media, with netizens asking her, “Which number boyfriend is this?” In a recent interview, the multifaceted actress said that she doesn’t feel bad about such questions and sees her relationship failures as personal growth opportunities.

Shruti explained that everyone has “that one dangerous ex” in their lives and that she closes each chapter with zero regrets. “When people ask, ‘Which number boyfriend is this?’ they don’t understand — for them, it’s just a number; for me, it’s the number of times I failed at having the love I want. So, I don’t feel bad about it. But yeah, I do feel a little bad. Of course, I’m human,” she admitted. However, the Salaar actress wished she hadn’t been so influenced by her relationships.

Shruti further revealed that she has been very loyal and “good” in all her relationships and that she doesn’t blame her partners when they call it quits. However, she expressed regret for hurting some valuable people in her life by mistake. “I still spend a lot of time saying sorry for it,” she added.
