If the latest buzz in Tollywood circles is to be believed, former BRS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s son Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav is all set to enter the Telugu film industry. Sai Kiran is reportedly turning producer with young hero Vishwak Sen’s upcoming movie. Tentatively titled Cult, the film is in the pre-production phase, and a formal announcement on this project will be made soon.
Talasani Sai Kiran initially followed his father Srinivas Yadav’s footsteps and tried his luck in politics. He contested the 2019 general elections from the Secunderabad constituency but was defeated by the BJP union minister G. Kishan Reddy in a close contest.
Soon after his political debacle, reports of Talasani Sai Kiran’s Tollywood debut made the rounds in film and political circles. Sai Kiran reportedly considered debuting in showbiz as an actor but decided to turn producer eventually.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav had served as the state Cinematography Minister during the BRS regime. Despite losing power, he continues to have a close rapport with several Tollywood celebrities, which will come in handy for his son in his stint as a producer. Incidentally, Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s younger brother, Talasani Shankar Yadav, produced ‘Chinni Chinni Aasa’ that featured Rajendra Prasad and Indraja.
