The World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is currently underway in Mumbai and will last until Sunday. Superstars Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Shah Rukh, Amitabh, and others have already participated in the event. Today, King Nagarjuna took part in a conversation, where he also launched Telangana stall.
Later, speaking in the panel about Pan-India cinema, Nagarjuna shared that the audiences are loving the larger-than-life characters on the big screen.
Opening up his mind, Nagarjuna said, “Films like Pushpa collected more money outside the Telugu states. In general, 90 out of 100 people watch movies like Pushpa, KGF and Baahubali to enjoy the magic getting unfolded on the big screen. The audiences wanted to watch heroes like Pushpa Raj, Rocky Bhai and Baahubali in larger-than-life roles. Personally, I also enjoy such films and heroes.”
Additionally, Nagarjuna opined that all the films have become hits not because of the hero characterisation but also with strong content. “Even director like Rajamouli made Baahubali in Telugu but gained an international recognition,” said Nagarjuna.
He was a part of the panel, which was also attended by Anupam Kher, Karthi, and Khsuhboo.
