Meet The Two 10 Cr+ Players Who Failed SRH!

On paper, Sunrisers Hyderabad looked like one of the most rounded and balanced sides in the tournament. But in reality, the game awareness and application have been lacking, and that is reflecting in the fact that Hyderabad is currently at the ninth position on the list.

There are multiple reasons for this disastrous performance in the league, but there are these two players who were bought for big prices in the action, but failed miserably.

The two players in discussion, here are Ishan Kishan and bowler, Mohammed Shami. Both of them were bought for over rupees 10 crore each by SRH in the auction. While they were able to successfully pocket big money in the auction, their gameplay and value added to the team has been preposterous to say the least.

Kishan started off on a brilliant note with a century in the first game, but sadly that was about it from him. He had been struggling to score him in 20 runs in each of the subsequent innings and has become more of a baggage to the team.

On the other hand, Mohammed Shami has been one of the worst buy for Hyderabad this year. He was bought for ₹10 crore in the auction and the results have been lacking.

In the crucial game against Gujarat last night, he conceded 48 runs in the three overs that he had bowled. He was absolutely pathetic with the ball in hand and could not have any sort of positive impact.

These are the two costly players who were bought in the auction by Hyderabad, and sadly, both of them have turned out to be failures. Hyderabad will need to be smarter and more applicable in the upcoming auction, henceforth.
