Ram Pothineni celebrates his birthday today, and on the special occasion, the makers of his ongoing film with director Mahesh Babu P have come up with an update of revealing the title through a wonderful glimpse.
The story dates back to the early 2000s. While fans celebrate FDFS hungama, the theatre management struggles to accommodate ticket requests from influential figures. Then, arrives Ram as fanboy who confidently asks for 50 tickets. When questioned ‘Evari Taluka’, he proudly replies, ‘Andhra King Taluka’. The glimpse concludes with Ram joining the celebrations and imitating the pose of the superstar, in front of the cutout. The title Andhra King Taluka is apt for the movie’s theme.
The Gen Z audiences may not have experienced the real essence of FDFS euphoria and it’s a fresh experience for them, those born in 80s and 90s find it nostalgic. That’s probably the reason the director chose 2000 backdrop. He must be appreciated for transporting viewers on a sentimental journey.
Ram’s character exemplifies a typical fan for whom FDFS is the real festival. Fully immersed himself in the character, he matched the aura of a superstar fan. Upendra plays the superstar Surya Kumar.
With impressive technical and production values with Siddhartha Nuni’s arresting visuals, Vivek–Merwin’s thumping score, and top production design of Mythri Movie Makers, the glimpse is totally enjoyable.
The expectations have reached new heights with this title glimpse alone. It indeed set the prospects high for the next promotional content.
