Actress & Roommate : Who Encouraged Raashi Khanna ?

Gorgeous actress Raashi Khanna talked about her close bond with her best friend and Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor in several interviews in the past. In the latest Farah Khan YouTube show, Raashi revealed some interesting snippets of her life and career and her friendship with Vaani Kapoor.

Raashi revealed that she was trying out modeling as a hobby while she was studying in New Delhi and met Vaani during one of the modeling events. “I got Vaani to join my modeling agency. Vaani always wanted to become an actor, and when she moved to Mumbai, she encouraged me to come to Mumbai. We both were roommates in Mumbai,” Raashi said.

Raashi went on to say that she and Vaani don’t show off their friendship. “We are like best friends. This whole idea that heroines can’t be friends is a lie. I think it seems that way because we don’t publicize our friendship on Instagram,” she added.

Raashi further added that she wasn’t quite interested in acting and twice declined the opportunity to act in Madras Cafe. “The film has John Abraham, and it was directed by Soojit Sircar. So when they called me for the third time, I said okay to meet,” she said. Raashi made her silver screen debut with Madras Cafe in 2013. The following year, she made her Tollywood debut with Oohalu Gusagusalade.
