Finally, Pushpa Choreographer Gets Her Credit!

Pushpa 2 is a successful film that brought recognition to almost everyone who worked in key departments. Even music director Sam CS who came on board to do the BGM was also praised for his good work. However, budding choregpraher Srashti Varma who composed the majority of Sooseki song did not get enough credit as no one acknowledged her work publicly. Finally, Sukumar got an opportunity to acknowledge it now.

In fact, Sukumar is someone who will give credit to those who truly deserve it. Even if the assistant director add some value addition, he will give due credit to him or her. During the success meets, we have seen how he praised his team and explained their individual contributions. But, little he got the chance to praise Srashti Varma.

During the trailer launch of Sita Payanam, Sukumar was one of the guests. The same event witnessed the attendance of Srashti Varma who worked for the movie. Speaking at the event, Sukumar revealed that it was Srashti who composed 80 percent of the Sooseki song from Pushpa 2.

Praising her work for Sita Payanam, director Sukumar said, “Srashti composed 80 percent of Sooseki song. She also composed some small montages. She deserves the credit for the same.”

On the other hand, the song has become a hit back then but officially, no one acknowledged Srashti’s work. However, she finally got her credit now.
