Kavitha In Touch With Congress: Journalism Or Sadism?

For the last couple of weeks or so, a lot of debate has been happening around the poltical future of KCR’s daughter Kavitha. First, it was the fierce letter to KCR, followed by the inauguration of Singareni Jagruthi which was implying that Kavitha could be contemplating her individual path outside of BRS. 

On that note, something interesting happened today as a leading Telugu media publication reported that Kavitha is in touch with Congress leadership and is ready to switch loyalties. 

It was reported that Kavitha had even open the talks with Telangana Congress leadership through a mediator. It was added that the Congress leadership is not inclined towards this move as they do not want to get themselves involved in KCR family politics.

However, Kavitha was rather quick to react to this developing situation as she reacted to this newspaper clipping on social media. 

Sharing the newspaper clipping of this report about her being in touch with Congress, Kavitha questioned the integrity of this paper and had a harsh set of words as well. 

“Is it journalism for a newspaper to write this news without even consulting me? Or is it sadism?” Kavitha stated today. She appears to be frustrated by the fact that the publication wrote this report without consulting her or getting firsthand information. 

It always looked unlikely that Kavitha would explore individual political options but there is no such thing as impossible in politics, so there’s always scepticism about Kavitha’s future. For now, Kavitha has rejected the rumors about her loyalties shifting elsewhere but it has to be seen where this saga would end up in the future.
