Rashmika Back To Bollywood After Sikandar’s Failure 

Rashmika Mandanna’s Bollywood entry was marked with some good performances on the screen. Her performance opposite Ranbir Kapoor in action drama ‘Animal’ and her role as the wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (played by Vicky Kaushal are some notable performances so far.

But her other three films in Hindi including her debut in ‘Goodbye’, along with ‘Mission Majnu’ and Sikandar haven’t performed at the box office as expected.

After scoring back-to-back successes with Chhaava and Animal, she was again back in the reckoning. However, her last film was a box office disaster. Netizens reacted that she is again going to Bollywood to do back-to-back films.

According to reports, Rashmika will join the sets of ‘Cocktail 2’ very soon. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Luv Ranjan, the second franchise of this popular Bollywood flick Cocktail (2012) will have Rashmika alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in three principal roles. The film will also have an ensemble cast.

The makers are planning to shoot the film in some exotic locations of Europe and India. The script is written by Luv Ranjan and is expected to be loaded with fun, humour and light-hearted emotions. The makers are planning to release the film in 2026.

Another film ‘Thama’ which is touted to be a vampire-centric story, will have Rashmika and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under Maddok Films, the film is expected to hit theatres in Diwali this year.

In Telugu, the ‘Dear Comrade’ actress has signed films ‘Kubera’ directed by Sekhar Kammula and ‘The Girlfriend’ directed by Rahul Ravindran.
