Baahubali is coming back to the big screen—this time as one single epic. A decade after Baahubali: The Beginning stormed theatres and reshaped Indian box office history, the makers are gearing up for a re-release unlike any before.
On the 10th anniversary of The Beginning this July, producer Shobu Yarlagadda officially announced that the Baahubali franchise will return to cinemas worldwide in October 2025, coinciding with Rebel Star Prabhas’ birthday. But there’s a twist: instead of releasing the two parts separately, the makers will combine The Beginning and The Conclusion into a single, trimmed-down version. The aim is to once again deliver a seamless cinematic experience to audiences worldwide.
The Baahubali saga, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, isn’t just a film, it’s a phenomenon. With its unmatched scale, VFX spectacle and thunderous box office performance, the franchise elevated Telugu cinema to a global platform. Now, the opportunity to relive that experience back-to-back in a singular narrative arc is expected to fuel massive audience interest once again.
This re-release isn’t just a nostalgia trip, it’s a calculated strategy to rekindle the theatrical magic of India’s most iconic epic. As the countdown to October begins, all eyes are on the box office to see if Baahubali can recreate its historic mayhem one more time.
