After Govt, RCB Announces 10 Lakh Compensation

The recent unfortunate stampede that happened at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru climate the lives of 11 people. This is one of the most disheartening incidents associated with global Cricket in recent years. 

In this context, the government of Karnataka had communicated that they would be compensating ₹10 lakh per each victim’s family. 

This is now followed by another substantial gesture by Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise as they have also announced a financial compensation for the victims.

The latest communication from Bengaluru confirms that the franchise would also be compensating each family of the victim with ₹10 lakh. Along with that, the franchise will also open a fund that would financially support the victims who had been injured in this incident.

Well, it turns out that the joy of winning the IPL did not last long for RCB due to this unfortunate incident that immediately tarnished the image of the franchise.
