NBK-Gopichand Malineni, Satish Kilaru: Historical Attempt

Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna is in full swing with a series of blockbusters. His next project was announced in style with a poster, which indicates his powerful and intense character. The blockbuster combination is back, as Balakrishna will be joining forces with director Gopichand Malineni for NBK111.

Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas will produce the movie with high production and technical standards. The poster sees a majestic lion, its face split between primal wildness and battle-ready armor. It sets the tone for what is likely to be a complex and powerful role for Balakrishna, whose character seems to embody both rage and resilience.

Billed to be a historical action extravaganza, NBK111 will start rolling, once Balakrishna is done with his ongoing project Akhanda 2: Thandavam being helmed by Boyapati Sreenu.

While Balakrishna previously starred in several historical movies, it’s a first attempt for director Gopichand Malineni.
