Twist Of The Year: Trivikram’s Mythological Film With NTR

Trivikram Srinivas is the center of attraction in the Telugu film industry, as his mythological film is being widely discussed on social media. The project, which was initially slated to Icon star Allu Arjun, reportedly fell into the hands of NTR. Interestingly, the sequence of events that triggered this is generating curiosity among the film circles. Additionally, the film is based on Subrahmanya Swamy.

In fact, everyone was vocal about the project, combining Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas. Sithara Entertainments are producing the film. Producer Naga Vamshi hyped the film, saying that Trivikram is touching a mythological element that has not been explored by anyone in the past.

The stage has been set, and everyone thought that the film would hit the floors right after Allu Arjun gets himself free from Pushpa 2. However, Allu Arjun went ahead with Atlee’s film first, pushing Trivikram to the back seat. Even then, everyone thought that the project would still be on and Trivikram would complete a film with Venkatesh in the meantime.

And then started the changes in the lineup. As Trivikram is busy in finalizing a film with Venkatesh, the news about him working with Ram Charan surfaced on social media. While Sukumar already locked Ram Charan for his next film, the speculations are rife that Sukumar’s project will get delayed and hence, Trivikram might do a film with Ram Charan. Until this part, everyone are still in an opinion that Trivikram will do the mythological project with Allu Arjun.

But, all of a sudden, the news about Trivikram doing the said mythological project with NTR kicked off on social media. The reports say that Trivikram will be working with NTR with the same story that he was supposed to do with Allu Arjun. The reason for the major change is unknown for the moment but there have been several theories about the same.

From the point of view of fans, they think that NTR is in consideration from a long time but it has been projected now as a surprise. Trivikram earlier announced a film with NTR in 2020 as #NTR30 which was shelved. Now, the fans are also assuming that the shelved project was supposed to be a mythological film and they just revived it.

On the other hand, Allu Arjun’s fans are subtly disappointed. In several interviews, Naga Vamsi hyped the film in such a manner that the fans eagerly awaited the film to take shape on celluloid. With the mythological drama touching an element that has not been explored before and especially, when someone like Trivikram Srinivas is crafting it, it definitely will have some merit.

However, the curious question that still lies in everyone’s minds is that, until recently, Trivikram’s film with Allu Arjun was in discussions and overnight, everything changed. In one of the recent interviews, producer Bunny Vas who is close to Allu Arjun revealed that he is just waiting for Allu Arjun and Trivikram to step forward and inform them that they are ready to go ahead with their film. In a couple of days, everything changed at once.

Meanwhile, NTR is committed to do Nelson Kumar’s film first with Sithara Entertainments. As soon as the project gets completed, he is expected to work on this mythological drama, in Trivikram Srinivas’ direction, for the same banner. However, NTR also has Devara 2 along with Dadasaheb Phalke biopic.
