June has been a disappointing month so far, as none of the releases so far have clicked at the box office. Now, all eyes are on the third week of releases, and the entire Telugu film industry is hoping to see success this week. Here is a look at the theatrical and OTT releases of this week.
Kuberaa:
Starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, this Sekhar Kammula directorial film is set for a grand release on June 20. Touted to be a thriller, there are many expectations on this movie.
8 Vasantalu:
After a gap of around seven years, director Phanindra Narisetty is returning to cinemas with his latest outing, 8 Vasantalu. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled this movie and features Ananthika Sanalkumar as the leading lady. It will hit the screens on June 20.
Sitaare Zameen Par:
Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is arriving with his much-anticipated film, Sitaare Zameen Par, this Friday. Starring Genelia as the female lead, this movie is directed by RS Prasanna. It is an official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Champions.
