An Indian origin CEO reportedly spent around $370,000 ( approx 3.5 crore ) on his girlfriend during their relationship. However, things took a dramatic turn after the couple broke up.
The CEO later went to court against his former girlfriend and sought to recover the money he had spent during their relationship. The case eventually became a costly legal battle for him.
According to reports, the man had spent a huge amount of money on gifts, trips and other expenses during their time together. He later claimed that the money should be returned after their relationship ended.
However, the court did not accept his argument and ruled against him. This meant that the money he had spent during the relationship could not simply be recovered through legal action.
The case has now attracted attention because of the massive amount involved. Spending hundreds of thousands of rupees or dollars on a relationship itself is unusual, but taking the matter to court after a breakup made the story even more interesting.
The incident also highlights how complicated financial matters can become when relationships ended. What may appear to be normal spending during a relationship can become a point of dispute after a breakup.
For the CEO, the outcome turned out to be particularly costly. After spending around 3.5 Crore on his girlfriend, he not only lost the relationship but also failed to recover the money through the court.
