Anirudh’s June Line-up : 4 Films – 4 Songs

When people hear the name Anirudh Ravichander, they instantly think of his tracks. A true rockstar who needs no introduction, Anirudh’s chartbusters speak volumes. His musical journey has always been grand, and this June, it’s getting even bigger—he’s gearing up to drop not one, not two, but possibly four new tracks this month.

Though no full-fledged single has been released yet, the short musical bits from Coolie have already taken social media by storm. From the teaser theme to Chikitu Vibe and the recent Power House track, each snippet has trended across platforms, setting sky-high expectations for the film. And now, the full version of Chikitu Vibe is dropping this week. The energetic number features Superstar grooving in his trademark style, with the tune inspired by a nostalgic clip from actor T. Rajender, father of Simbu.

Anirudh is also composing for Thalapathy Vijay’s political drama Jana Nayagan, the actor’s last film before entering full-time politics. Vijay’s birthday on June 22 will be marked by a special glimpse from the film. The Anirudh-Vijay combo is already a global favorite, and this new glimpse is expected to feature a banging track in the background. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is said to be loosely inspired by Bhagavanth Kesari, the Telugu box office hit starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Anirudh has also reunited with director AR Murugadoss, known for Kaththi and Darbar, for the upcoming high-octane action drama Madharasi starring Sivakarthikeyan. Scheduled for release on September 5, the makers are planning to launch the first single this month. The Anirudh-Sivakarthikeyan combo is yet another fan-favorite that always grabs attention.

Another major release on Anirudh’s slate is Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. Their previous collaboration on Jersey delivered an iconic soundtrack, and this marks Anirudh’s first time teaming up with Vijay. The first single, released last month, received a decent response. While the film was initially set for a May 30 release, it’s now postponed, with the team eyeing late July or early August. A second single is expected to drop this month, kickstarting the next phase of promotions.

With Coolie, Jana Nayagan, Madharasi, and Kingdom in the mix, Anirudh is all set to own June. And that’s not all—he’s also part of high-profile projects like Magic, The Paradise, and Jailer 2. As we hit the mid-point of June, expect the next two weeks to be nothing short of a musical storm from Rockstar Anirudh.
