Telugu Producer Makes A Successful Debut In Malayalam

Of late, many Telugu producers are trying their luck in other film industries. We have seen Allu Aravind and Dil Raju producing a couple of Hindi films in the recent past. Dil Raju also bankrolled Vijay’s Varisu in Tamil. Recently, Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly in Tamil, Adrishya Jalakangal and Nadikar in Malayalam and has lined up a few other projects in Kollywood.

Now, another noted producer, Sahu Garapati, who is currently producing Megastar Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s Mega 157, made his debut in the Malayalam film industry.

Sahu Garapati co-produced the recent Malayalam film Vyasana Sametham Bandhu Mithradhikal, starring Anaswara Rajan in the lead role. The film was released on June 13 and received a positive response from both critics and audiences. It is also currently running in various multiplexes across Hyderabad.

Vyasana Sametham Bandhu Mithradhikal is a dark comedy which is set against the backdrop of a funeral and explores various themes like family relationships and societal quirks. It is directed by Vipin. With the success of this film, we have to see if Sahu bankrolls films further in other languages under his banner, Shine Screens.
