Thammudu Release Trailer: Emotionally Charged Action Drama

Actor Nithiin, who has been on a rough patch over the last few years, is testing his luck at the box office this Friday with his new outing, Thammudu. Directed by Sriram Venu, this film features Saptami Gowda, Laya and Varsha Bollama in other main roles. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project. Ahead of the release, the makers unveiled a new trailer today.

Based on this trailer, it appears that director Sriram Venu has taken an emotionally charged approach to presenting an action drama, unlike the stereotypical commercial movies. The movie showcases the journey of a young man who is on a mission to save his sister from evil forces, even when she doesn’t accept him as her “Thammudu”.

The reasons behind why Laya refuses to accept Nithiin as her brother and why evil forces are going after her life add excitement and increase curiosity around the film.

Despite facing a few flops in the last few years, Nithiin didn’t go back to the formula story and tried experimenting with an emotional action drama like Thammudu. We have to see if his experiment pays off and delivers him the much-needed success.

Saurabh Sachdeva, Swasika, Hari Teja, Srikanth Iyyengar and others played the supporting roles in the movie. Ajneesh Loknath has composed the music for it. Thammudu will have its worldwide release on July 4.
