Koratala’s Comeback Has To Wait Longer?

After Acharya’s failure, director Koratala Siva made a strong comeback with Devara: Part 1 last year. Starring Jr NTR in the lead role, this action drama became one of the biggest hits of 2024. Despite scoring such a big hit, Koratala Siva is unable to start his new film even after all these months.

Koratala has been working on Devara 2, but it may take time to hit the floors as NTR has multiple projects in the pipeline. While War 2 is gearing up for release on August 14, NTR is busy with the shoot of his other film with Prashanth Neel.

After that, he is expected to start the mythological film with Trivikram. So, it will take time for him to come back to the Devara world. Moreover, the film’s producer Kalyan Ram Nandamuri also opened up that Devara 2 will hit the floors after NTR wraps up Prashanth Neel’s film. The reports suggest that Devara 2 may get further delayed as NTR wants to prioritise Trivikram’s next film.

Reportedly, even if Koratala wants to do another film with another hero, all the star actors are busy with their respective projects right now. Young Heroes like Vijay Deverakonda and Nani are also busy with other commitments. It is heard that the director isn’t interested in working with any other hero below that level. So, the only option left for him is to work with senior actors.

Already, Koratala had a bitter result when he worked with a senior star. So, we don’t know if he would be interested in working with senior stars again. Thus, it looks like it is going to be a long wait for this Mirchi director to start his next film.
