Legendary actor Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away in the early hours of Sunday, July 13, at the age of 83. He breathed his last at around 4 AM at his residence in Hyderabad. Reports confirm that he had been unwell for the past few days due to age-related health issues.
Kota Srinivasa Rao was one of the most respected and versatile actors in South Indian cinema. With a career spanning over four decades, he acted in more than 750 films, leaving a strong mark with his unique voice, dialogue delivery, and powerful screen presence. Whether it was comedy, villainy, or character roles, he played each with equal brilliance.
He was also a recipient of numerous awards, including the Padma Shri and several Nandi Awards, and even served as an MLA once. Beyond the screen, Kota was admired for his discipline, straightforwardness, and love for art.
The Telugu film industry and his countless fans are mourning his loss. Tributes are pouring in from all corners, remembering the legend who made a deep impact on generations of movie lovers.
