Telugu cinema has lost one of its brightest stars today. Kota Srinivasa Rao, the revered actor known for his expressive voice, unforgettable characters, and unmatched versatility, has passed away.

Several prominent Telugu actors, including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Ravi Teja, and others, have mourned the passing of the senior actor.
Chiranjeevi noted that he and Kota began their journeys together with the film Pranam Khareedu.

With his distinctive acting, he breathed life into every character he played. He also had the rare distinction of captivating audiences in other languages as well.”
Ravi Teja, who shared a close personal and professional bond with Kota Srinivasa Rao, shared:
“Grew up watching him, admiring him, and learning from every performance. Kota Babai was like family to me. I cherish the lovely memories of working with him. Rest in peace, Kota Srinivasa Rao garu. 🙏 Om Shanti.”
