Rajamouli’s Global Vision: What’s He Planning for SSMB29?

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film with Rajamouli will see no boundaries. The film unit did not make any announcements about the project, but it will truly be a pan-world film. Billed to be an African action adventure drama, the makers are now planning to collaborate with a Hollywood production house to get a big boost for the Oscars.

After intensively campaigning for RRR in Hollywood during the Oscars, Rajamouli and his team realised that things would be easy for them to nominate their film directly through a Hollywood production house instead of applying for Oscars from the Foreign Film category. With huge stakes involved in the making of SSMB29 and an impeccable confidence, the team hopes to bring in a Hollywood banner as one of the key production houses of the film.

Although there is a criteria for applying for Oscars through a Hollywood based company, Rajamouli and team is fully aware of it. Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya is reportedly working towards making things work in the favour of the film so that they can aim big with their film.

Durga Arts is officially bankrolling the film and producer KL Narayana would happily take the secondary producer seat, if the film is getting all the benefits. As of now, the speculation is growing in the film circles and there is no confirmation over the same.
