WAR 2 Trailer to Be Launched on July 25

Yash Raj Films is steadily expanding its Spy Universe, bringing together characters from films like War, Pathaan and Tiger. The next chapter, War 2, features Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. in lead roles and is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is planned as a pan-India release in multiple languages.

In 2025, both Hrithik and NTR complete 25 years in cinema. To mark the milestone, the makers have announced that the trailer for War 2 will be launched on July 25.

The film is scheduled to hit screens on August 14, ahead of Independence Day. It will release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, and will also be available in IMAX. This marks NTR’s debut in Hindi cinema and his entry into the YRF Spy Universe, while Hrithik returns as Kabir from the 2019 film War.

YRF has been gradually building a connected universe with crossover characters and storylines. War 2 is expected to deepen that connection and push the franchise further. With NTR onboard, the studio is also making a clear move to reach South Indian markets more directly.

The trailer, dropping on July 25, is likely to reveal more about the film’s scale, tone and characters. With a strong Independence Day release window and two popular stars leading the film, War 2 is shaping up to be one of the major releases of the year.
