The shoot of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh is progressing steadily in Hyderabad. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film has been in production for several months, with schedules adjusted around Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. While fans are gearing up for the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu on July 24, work on Ustaad Bhagat Singh is quietly moving forward in the background.
Over the past few days, there was speculation that Raashi Khanna had joined the shoot. The makers have now made it official. They announced her inclusion in the cast on social media, along with the release of her first-look poster from the film.
In the image, Raashi is seen smiling and holding a camera, with her character’s name revealed as Shloka. The look suggests she plays a cheerful, possibly artistic character. She becomes the female lead in the film, joining Sreeleela, who has also been part of recent schedules.
According to the team, Raashi is currently participating in the ongoing schedule, which is expected to wrap up in the coming weeks. The announcement puts an end to the rumours and confirms her role in the film.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh marks the second collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar, following their 2012 hit Gabbar Singh. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by Devi Sri Prasad. The team is aiming for a Summer 2026 release.
