Is Karan Johar Taking Over ‘Mirai’ for Hindi Release?

Teja Sajja’s HanuMan created quite a sensation in North India when it was released. The film managed to impress the audiences in North, thus creating a market for the young hero. Now, Teja is aiming big with his upcoming film Mirai and the reports say that he will be backed by Karan Johar for the release of Mirai across North.

Mirai, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni faced multiple postponements already. Still, the team wants to bring the film for a grand release in September at any cost. Dharma Productions that backed Baahubali, 2.O and Devara is reportedly in talks with the team for a collaboration in bringing it to a maximum number of theatres in Hindi.

Karan Johar’s addition to the team will surely boost the confidence levels of the movie unit and also help big in the release. The film’s teaser already set the expectations high and the VFX work in it was also been appreciated in a big manner. Teja is also planning to expand his market with the film. If Karan comes on board, it means that things are falling in place in the right time.

Vishwa Prasad TG is producing the film under the People Media Factory banner. Manoj Manchu and Ritika Nayak are also a part of the film.
