The Indian films, especially the Telugu movies, do well at the box office across the world. There is a huge market for Telugu films in the USA, UK, and other nations. However, the film celebration culture in overseas is bringing a bad name to the Telugu community, especially with many people throwing confetti across the floor, causing inconvenience to others. A similar incident has been reported now for Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
The film was being screened at a Cineworld theatre in the UK. The fans were enjoying the film and started throwing confetti during the key scenes. The theatre management had to stop the film’s screening to address the disruption caused by the viewers. The video of the same is going viral on social media, causing a lot of criticism.
The video shows theatre staff talking about confetti strewn across the floor. However, the fans defended their actions, citing that a prior notice or public display of any such notice about the prohibition of confetti was not there. Another fan tried to divert the issue by talking about the malfunctioning of the sound system.
The video is gaining traction on social media now, with people finding fault with the fans only. Many such incidents have been reported in the USA as well. If they continue further, it could become a problem for those involved in such actions.
