Confident Speech From a Debutant: Venkitesh VP On the Block!

Kingdom is the next big release from Telugu cinema, eyeing for the coming weekend. Starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, the film is directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. The team is highly confident of the movie’s success. Interestingly, the film is also a watch out, for the actors like Satyadev, Bhagyashri Borse and debutant Venkitesh VP.

Venkitesh hails from Malayalam film industry and his presence has already created quite an impression among the audiences when they watched the trailer. The two shots in which he is present reveals that there is something around his role. Now, during the pre-release event, he delivered a confident speech which we usually do not witness from any non-Telugu speaking debutant.

Venkitesh got all candid during his speech, humbly accepting that this is the first film where he got a caravan for himself with his name. Additionally, he revealed that he used to work in TV serials in Malayalam as a background artist but got the chance to be a part of this prestigious project.

While he also thanked Vijay, Gautham, Naga Vamsi and others, the final punch that he delivered was announcing his arrival to Telugu cinema to become a star.

“Please take a good care of me. I am here to become a star,” he told the crowd and it speaks volumes about the ambition he has. Already with the pre-release event speech, he would have definitely caught the attention of filmmakers and audiences. Now, his performance must speak for himself to keep things work in his favour.

While Satyadev plays Vijay’s brother in the film, Bhagyasri will be seen as Vijay’s love interest. Satyadev is an experienced actor and there has been a great buzz around his role in the film. Bhagyashri proved her skill already but this film must become a winner for her to enter the next league of heroines.

Kingdom is hitting the screens on July 31st.
