Nagarjuna Slapped This Bollywood Actress 14 Times, Here’s Why!

Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar acted with Nagarjuna in the film Chandralekha, which was her second film as an actress. During the film’s shoot, Nagarjuna slapped her for real and in a recent interview, she shared the incident.

In fact, it was Isha who had asked Nagarjuna to slap her for real. It was a scene where Nag has to slap Isha. When Nag did it normally, Isha was not reacting to it accordingly. Then, Isha asked Nag to slap her for real. Nagarjuna was initially hesitant but she insisted on doing it so that the scene comes well.

Like that, Nagarjuna had to slap for 14 times to get the shot perfectly, after which the shot was okayed along with her cheek having the finger marks of Nag. Isha shared how she could not be showing anger in front of the camera but which she could easily do off the camera.

On the other hand, Isha also shared how South cinema dominated Bollywood now. She said, “When I worked in the South, no one knew which film I was doing, but today everyone knows, and we even remake their films. Now the South is globally recognised.”
