During the promotions of Gamechanger and even after the film flopped at the box office, there have been reports that Charan spent a lot of time on the project and even decided to let go of the project too.
Many fans thought that Charan was supposed to do a film with director Gautham Tinnanuri, but he wanted to focus on Game Changer and did not take the film forward. However, the latest reports confirm that it was director Gautham who decided not to move forward with the film.
During the promotions of Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, Gautham confirmed that the story he narrated to Charan is not Kingdom. At the same time, he also gave clarity on what happened to the project that they had planned together. The actor and director travelled together for quite some time and everyone was of the opinion that it was going to happen.
But the reality is that Gautham narrated a subject to Ram Charan which he liked. Later, Gautham developed it into a full script. Once the script took a shape, Gautham felt that the subject will not suit Charan and he can not compromise on the opportunity. So, he conveyed the same to Charan who graciously accepted the same.
However, Gautham confirmed that there is a good bond between him and Charan despite them not agreeing to work together. Gautham wanted to do a good film with Charan and not waste the opportunity by doing something without thinking if it suits the actor or not.
On the other hand, Charan is currently busy with Peddi.
