NTR & Hrithik’s Double Collar Moment Says It All for War 2

As expected, NTR’s speech was the special highlight at the pre-release event of War 2 in Hyderabad. In his speech, Tarak reflected on his illustrious 25-year journey in cinema and paid special tributes to some important people who were instrumental in shaping him as the star that he is today.

In a touching gesture, NTR showered his love and admiration on his legendary grandfather NT Ramarao, father Nandamuri Harikrishna, mothers Shalini and Lakshmi, brothers Nandamuri Janakiram and Kalyanram, legendary media baron Ramoji Rao, who introduced him with Ninnu Choodalani, all his directors, and finally his fans for standing by him like a pillar of support throughout his career.

Revealing the main reason for signing War 2, NTR said that apart from the strength and potential of the film’s story, it was producer Aditya Chopra’s persistence and support that made him do War 2. “Aditya sir told me, ‘I will make your fans proud of War 2,'” NTR said, sealing the film’s successful fate at the box office by proudly raising both his collars, only to be joined by Hrithik Roshan, who also raised his collar amidst a thunderous roar of fans.

Tarak also showcased his respect and admiration for his childhood hero, Hrithik Roshan. “Back then, I only knew Michael Jackson. But Hrithik sir’s dances and performance in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai made me go mad. I know there has been a lot of noise about who the better dancer is between the two of us. But let me just tell you, Hrithik sir is one of the finest and most impeccable actors and dancers in India. He is the only actor in the country who is dedicated to his craft,” Tarak added, winning everyone’s hearts.

Tarak went on to make a couple of interesting statements about War 2. Heaping praises on the film’s director, Ayan Mukerji, NTR said that Ayan will be remembered for directing one of the greatest films of our times called War 2. You’ll know that he is the only person eligible to helm War 2. He has spent numerous sleepless nights to carve War 2,” he added. Tarak concluded his speech by urging all his fans to not reveal the twists in War 2 after watching the movie.
