Coolie Part of LCU? Lokesh Gives Reality Check!

With few more hours to go for the release of Coolie, director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to social media to share his nervousness. The director is beyond delighted to be working with Superstar Rajinikanth. He shared his gratitude to the cast and crew in a special note he penned to fans. In the same note, he officially clarified the wide spread speculation about the film being a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe.

We all knew that Lokesh cooked up LCU and started making films in this universe. We have seen a few films getting released already. However, he made it clear once again that Coolie is a standalone film and is not a part of his LCU.

“Coolie is a standalone film for my Rajinikanth sir,” he stated in his note to fans.

Despite the film featuring a huge star cast, Lokesh stuck to his principles and did not forcefully include the film to the universe. He treated it as a standalone film which he clarified at the beginning of the shoot itself. Ahead of the release, as the speculations are growing, he made it clear once again!
