Rukmini Vasanth who impressed everyone with the Kannada film Saptha Sagara Daachi Ello is making waves in South cinema now. Although the actress took her time in accepting new projects after her debut, she is now a rising heroine in South India. During the pre-release event of Madharaasi, the lineup of the actresses is revealed by producer and Distributor NV Prasad.
“Rukmini Vasanth is the heroine in Kantara 2 and she is also working in NTR-Neel film. Additionally, she is also doing Toxic,” said NV Prasad, revealing that Rukmini was an upcoming heroine when they brought her on board for Madharaasi.
Rukmini Vasanth already debuted in Telugu with Nikhil Siddharth’s Appudo Ippudo Eppudo but the film failed at the box office miserably. The actress is now hoping to make a comeback to success with the film NTR-Neel in Telugu as it would serve her as a visiting card for the upcoming line up of movies.
If Madharaasi clicks at the box office, the film will surely bring more offers to the actress in Tamil.
