Lokesh & Aamir’s Superhero Film Shelved?

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently completed the film Coolie but it did not perform well at the box office. The director was supposed to take up Kaithi 2 now, but he gets busy with his acting debut. In the middle of all this, there are media reports that Lokesh is going to compromise on certain projects that he planned to take forward.

As per the latest speculations on social media, the much-awaited superhero film that Lokesh planned with Aamir Khan is getting shelved completely, and it may not go further. However, there are even chances for the project to be kept on hold, considering Lokesh might be wanting to prioritize the multistarrer film that he wants to do with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

The speculations are flying high on social media ever since Kamal Haasan gave a statement, confirming his collaboration with Rajinikanth. Additionally, during or post the release of Coolie, there was no statement from either Lokesh or Aamir on their suppposed collaboration.

If the project is going to take off, Lokesh must address the speculations and put an end to it. Already, Aamir’s cameo received a lot of criticism from the audiences and if at all he collaborates with Lokesh, the project must garner positive buzz in the first place.
