Manchu Manoj, who was on a break for quite some time, returned to acting with the film Bhairavam. He even committed to doing another movie, Mirai, in which he plays a negative role. The film’s promotions are currently going on, and Manoj is also trying his best to push the film further. In this context, the success of Mirai is crucial for Manoj as the last movie, Bhairavam, did not make any significant impact.

Although Manoj’s performance in Bhairavam received critical acclaim, the film didn’t perform well at the box office. But he got a full-length character that has multiple shades. Now in Mirai, he plays a proper negative role, which offered him a scope to reveal his full potential.

Manoj is considered to be a good performer, but he has not tasted big success in Telugu yet. Although he scored blockbusters earlier, nothing changed his market or the kind of directors that approach him. Manoj still has a long way to go to reach his contemporaries. Surprisingly, around this time, he shifted gears to take up negative roles, which we think is a strategy to make it big.

Now, suppose his performance in Mirai impresses and the movie performs well commercially. In that case, Manoj’s chances will definitely increase, as Tollywood needs a strong villain presence, especially with more Bollywood villains making their way into Telugu films.

Moreover, Manoj is also going to get a pan-India attention with Mirai, and technically, this will be his first pan-India outing. If the movie clicks well in Hindi, Manoj will also get a chance to test his luck in Hindi in the coming days.
