Brahmanandam is the undisputed king of comedy in Indian cinema. He appeared in the maximum number of movies and also secured a spot in the Guinness World Records. However, the surprising element of his career is that his presence is very limited in Bollywood. Not many knew the reason behind it, but he opened up on the same recently.
During the launch of his autobiography in English and Hindi, Brahmanandam shared the reason why he did not do many Hindi movies. The major reason behind his not pursuing a career in Bollywood is the language barrier.
“Comedy is deeply rooted in timing, diction, and subtlety. Hindi is not my first language, and I feel that I might not achieve the same level of impact in Hindi films as I do in Telugu,” revealed Brahmanandam.
Titled Nenu mee Brahmanandam in Telugu, the autobiography is available in 6 languages now.
