Bollywood Actor Takes a Dig at ‘Best Actor’ & ‘National Crush’ Tags

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee’s latest comments about Bollywood PR machinery are gaining traction on social media now. Manoj stated that the PR begins to give tags like Best Actor or National Crush soon after they give a good performance. According to Manoj, it is so humiliating.

Manoj tried to differentiate between these coming-of-age actors and all other seniors who were trained to become actors. In a conversation with a YouTube channel, Manoj Bajpayee spoke on behalf of himself and Piyush Mishra.

“It is humiliating for him who has been trained as an actor and has been acting for so many years. It is humiliating for me, who has been giving everything to this craft, and suddenly jo hai, agle din aap padhte ho ‘best actor’. Suddenly ek #BestActor aa jaata hai, phir chaar mahine baad another #BestActor aata hai #NationalCrush. You know, the whole culture has changed,” he shared.

However, as soon as the comments went viral, the netizens thought that Manoj intentionally targeted some of the actors. Meanwhile, on the work front, Manoj Bajpayee is currently featured in Jugnuma – The Fable. He was last seen in Inspector Zende, streaming on Netflix.
